Charles F. Mitchell

Charles F. Mitchell (born c. 1808, New York City) was a U.S. Representative from New York.

Mitchell attended the public schools in New York. He moved to Lockport, New York, in 1829. He was appointed one of the firemen of the village May 21, 1829. He was engaged in the milling business in 1835.

Mitchell was elected as a Whig to the Twenty-fifth and Twenty-sixth Congresses (March 4, 1837 – March 3, 1841).

Mitchell subsequently engaged in milling in the West, and his death date is unknown.
